Biography

Stanley Chinitz specializes in civil litigation and alternative dispute resolution, including arbitration. Areas of expertise include claims relating to employment, the sale of securities, life insurance, disability income insurance, insurance coverage matters, and real estate disputes.  Mr. Chinitz is admitted to practice in New York and before numerous federal courts, including the United States Court of Appeals for the Fourth and Fifth Circuits, the United States District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York, and the District of Rhode Island.  He serves as an arbitrator and is a member of the American Arbitration Association’s Commercial Panel.  He received his B.A., cum laude, from Hofstra University (1974) and his J.D., cum laude, from Brooklyn Law School (1987).
